Multiple OS in VPS Servers
In case you decide to purchase one of our VPS server plans, you will be able to pick one of the three Linux distributions that we offer for the Operating System of the servers - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. These are among the most widespread and most dependable server OSs on the market and we offer them so that you have a choice for the software environment of your machine if you need to install some app with particular requirements in terms of the packages that should be present on the web hosting server. We also offer three hosting Control Panels and which one of them you could use depends on the OS that you have selected. We leave the option to replace the server Operating System open, so when you want to use an app that requires an OS different from the one that's already present, we can always re-install the VPS. We can also keep the OS up-to-date weekly by installing any security updates that may be available.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server solutions - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're freely available and they won't increase the low price of your new hosting server, but also because they are very secure and stable. Each one of them is supported by a big community of developers, so you'll be able to choose from thousands of software packages that you can install on your server if the application that you would like to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and because we would like to provide you with as much freedom as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a given OS, we could change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you'll need a different one. We will also keep the OS updated weekly as a part of our useful Managed Services upgrade.
