Node.js in Website Hosting
When you host an Internet app on our avant-garde cloud platform and you wish to try out Node.js, you’ll be able to add it to your account regardless of the website hosting package that you use. You can make this from the Upgrades menu in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you’ll be able to use Node.js in no more than a few minutes after you add this upgrade to your account. You’ll be able to choose how many instances you want to add to your account – one instance means one app using Node.js. In the new section that will show up in the Control Panel, you can define the path to the .js file in your hosting account and select if that file will be accessible via the shared IP of the server or via a dedicated IP. Our system will also assign a port for the connection. You will be able to shut down or to reboot each instance independently, in case it’s necessary.
Node.js in Semi-dedicated Servers
With a semi-dedicated server from us, you can use all the benefits that the Node.js platform is offering, due to the fact that it is available with all our plans and you can add it to your account with several clicks of the mouse from the Hepsia website hosting Control Panel – the semi-dedicated account administration tool that is included with every semi-dedicated server. If you’d like to employ Node.js for multiple Internet apps, you can select the amount of instances that the platform will use when you are adding this service to your plan. After that, you’ll need to insert the path to the .js file in your account for each instance. You can do this in the new menu that will appear in the Control Panel after you order the upgrade and during the process, you can also select if the path to the specific app should go through a dedicated IP – in case you’ve got one, or through the physical server’s shared IP. Each and every instance that you activate can be restarted or deleted independently and you can see the output of your applications with just a few mouse clicks.
Node.js in VPS Servers
All VPS servers that are ordered with our custom-developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel come with Node.js by default and you can take full advantage of the platform for any web-based application that you host on the VPS. Since we haven’t put a restriction on the amount of instances that you can activate, you can take full advantage of the power of our VPSs and mix it with the full potential of Node.js. The setup is done through the Hepsia Control Panel’s user-friendly, point-and-click graphical interface, so even if you’re not tech-savvy, you won’t experience any impediments while using the Node.js platform. You’ll simply have to include the path in the account to the .js file that will use Node.js and to select whether it will use a shared or a dedicated IP address. Furthermore, our system will also choose a port number to access this file and you will be able to find it in the respective section in the Hepsia Control Panel. With just one click of the mouse, you can check your apps’ output and to remove or to restart any instance running on the Virtual Private Server.
Node.js in Dedicated Servers
Node.js is available with all dedicated web hosting plans that are ordered with the Hepsia Control Panel, so you will be able to take full advantage of the event-driven platform as soon as your physical server is assembled. As Hepsia is exceptionally user-friendly, you will be able to do that without any difficulty, even if you have never worked with Node.js before, since everything that you will have to do on your end is specify the directory path to the .js file that will use the platform and the IP address that will be used to access the file. The latter can be a dedicated one or can be shared with other web sites. You can set up as many Node.js instances as you need on our extremely powerful dedicated servers and each of them can be controlled independently – you’ll be able to start, to restart or to discontinue it, to check the output of the app that uses it, etc. This can be done through the intuitive, point-and-click Hepsia Control Panel, so you can make full use of the power of the Node.js platform without effort.
